Queen - Amy Haslebacher
Hi! My name is Amy Haslebacher. I am 21 years old and the
proud daughter of Debi and Bryan Haslebacher from Salem, Oregon. Born and raised outside of
Salem, my love of horses began when I was young. My dad would put me on the
back of his horse and told me to do the princess wave! From there I spent my
high school years competing in 4-H as well as OHSET (Oregon High School
Equestrian Team) events.
After graduation, I purchased my horse Honey. She
is a 14 year old Quarter Horse buckskin mare and will be accompanying me at
many rodeos and related events this year.
Rodeo has been a passion of mine for many years.
I am thrilled to be
representing the Buckeroo this year and can not wait to meet all the rodeo
fans. My favorite event would have to be bull riding. I am REALLY looking
forward to this great year with Emily and Lacy.
Princess
- Emily Wilhite
My name is Emily Wilhite and I am one of the 2009 Molalla Buckeroo
Princesses! I am 19
years old and the proud daughter of Roger and Nancy
Wilhite of Woodburn, Oregon.
In high school, I was involved in OHSET and 4-H with my horses in various
events such as driving, trail, working pairs, and drill team. In my spare
time, I enjoyed trail riding and camping with my 8-year-old APHA mare Dolly.
I now attend George Fox University where I am pursuing a degree in
education, with the goal of becoming an 8th grade math teacher.
Being a part of the Molalla Buckeroo Royal Court has been a lifelong dream
of mine and I am very excited for the upcoming year. I look forward to
traveling across Oregon to different rodeos as well as making new friends
and memories.
I would like to thank my family, friends, and the Molalla Buckeroo
Association Board members for supporting me in my pursuit to promote the
great American sport of rodeo and the Molalla Buckeroo.
